1. Lineman regarding to Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic: 363 posts (Female)
2. Lineman regarding to Electrician trade: 217 posts (Male & Female)

Age limit information for various categories:

• Between 18 years to 35 years, 18 years to 38 years for IIA, IIB, IIIB category candidates. Candidates will get age relaxation as per their cast category according to the government rules

Salary structure with pay scale:

• Scale of Rs.7950-Rs.16790/-

Necessary Educational qualification:

• For Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic posts: Candidates must have possess the qualification of certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka
• Lineman trade/ Electrician trade posts: Candidates must have passed 10th class Examination and must have a certificate of THREE YEARS “Lineman trade/ Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.

Application fee:

• General/ 1/ 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B category candidates need to pay Rs 400/- and SC/ ST candidates have to pay Rs. 200/-

Mode of selection:

• Aspirants will be selected based on written exam and personal Interview and medical exam.

Selection Process:

Candidates will select based on examination marks any through other process as like:

• 100 meters running: 14 seconds (Max) 
• Skipping: 50 limes in one minute 
• Shot put (12 pounds) : 8 meters throws (3 Opportunities) 
• Climbing of Electric Pole: 8 meters height (Compulsory) 
• 800 meters running: 3 minutes (Max)
