Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) was set up on 31 December, 1954. The working of this service commission was started on 26 January, 1957. Various function of this commission has been set up under section 133 of the Constitution of the State.

Age limit information for various categories:

• For General candidates: Age should be Between 18 years to 37 years
• For PWD candidates: Age should between 18 year to 39 years
• For RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC/ SLC candidates: Age should between 18 years to 40 years

Necessary Educational qualification:

• Candidate must have completed Master Degree in Physical Education from any recognized university Technical Education/ Youth Services and Sports Department

• For General candidates: Rs.500/-
• For other candidates: Rs.250/-

Selection process:

• Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination and Interview in JKPSC Recruitment 2014

Salary structure with pay scale:

• Selected candidates will get salary of Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with grade pay of Rs.4300/-
